About the Wine Geek
The Wine Geek graduated from the University of Florida
with a degree in history and began working in the world of
wine in 1974. He began buying wine
from all around the world in 1976. His first vineyard tour
was in Europe in 1978. He has been going to the vineyards
of the world regularly since then and has traveled extensively
in Australia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Hungary
and America. The Wine Geek has been initiated into the Commanderie
du Bontemps de Médoc et des Graves and the Jurade de
St. Émilion in France. He completed the German Wine
Academy course held in Germany by the German government, has
judged at the Sonoma harvest festival wine competition and
writes reviews for Beverage and Food Dynamics.
