Screwpull Champagne Star
When opening a bottle of sparkling wine with the Screwpull Champagne Star, always bear in mind that there is extreme pressure in the bottle and once the wire cage is removed, the cork is held in place only by friction. After the bottle has been properly chilled, remove the foil and the wire cage. Holding the neck of the bottle in your hand, tilt the bottle away from you at a 45° angle. With your other hand place the Star in the four notches left the cork by the wire and press firmly in place. Turn the cork slowly and the gas pressure will push it out of the bottle under your control.
Screwpull Crown Sealer
The Screwpull Crown Sealer works by raising the lever to the upright position. Slide the Crown sideways onto the top of the bottle, ensuring that the collar on the bottleneck fits into the groove on the inside of the Crown. Press the lever down firmly with your thumb and a tight seal will be made on the top of the bottle. To remove the Crown, simply raise the lever and slide it off the top of the bottle. To ensure your Crown is kept clean, rinse it regularly with warm water and wipe dry. Pay particular attention to cleaning the rubber seal.
